How Barred handles data for hosted sessions.
01
What we store
Discord user id, username, avatar URL, and settings you configure in the dashboard.
Encrypted Discord tokens (and related API keys) needed to keep a host session online.
Optional Spotify / lyrics credentials you connect, device labels, and operational logs (errors, reconnects).
Widget presets and similar module data you save in the dashboard.
02
How we use it
To run your hosted session, apply presence/lyrics/sniper settings, and show the dashboard.
To enforce bans, rate limits, and abuse prevention.
We do not sell your personal data.
03
Sharing
Data is sent to Discord (and services you connect, e.g. Spotify) as required for features you enable.
Infrastructure providers that host the app may process data under their terms. We do not hand data to advertisers.
04
Retention
Account and settings data is kept while your host is registered or until you request deletion.
Operational logs may be retained for a limited period for debugging and security.
05
Your choices
Disconnect tokens, clear modules, or contact support to remove an account from hosting.
Browser local storage may hold session keys and a multi-account switcher list on your device only.
